FAQ

Straight answers about how Claari works

Do my customers need an app?

No. They scan your QR code, type a first name and follow a ticket in their phone’s browser. They do not need an account.

How do customers know it is their turn?

Their ticket changes when your team calls them. If they provided an email, a call email can also be sent. Email delivery depends on the hosted email setup. SMS is outside the current pilot.

Can a location have several lines?

Yes. A location can have several service lines, each with its own staff board. The pilot focuses on walk-ins; appointments belong to the wider platform vision.

What happens to customer data?

Customers provide a first name and may add an email. Lobby displays show ticket numbers. The software uses Supabase for database and sign-in and supports Resend or SMTP for email; the active providers depend on the deployment. Use the contact page to ask about data handling, access or deletion. See the privacy policy for details.

How do I get started?

Create an account, add a location and services, open your line and print the QR code. The staff console is currently in English; customer ticket pages support English and Spanish. Contact us if you would like help.

What does it cost?

Claari is free during the pilot. Paid plans come later. We will tell you the price before anything is billed.

What if someone does not use a phone?

Your staff can still help and serve people in person. Keep an in-person path available for customers who cannot or prefer not to use a phone.
